We’ve got a state of the art Full Swing golf simulator installed just outside of the home theater. This is paired with a Sony projector and is all controllable from the same Control4 system.
This home gym is complete with a massage room, sauna, cold plunge, and various exercise machines. One of the unique aspects of this is that two full walls are covered with mirrors from floor to ceiling. Our team installed an 85-inch Samsung TV flush against the mirror to give it a gorgeous and sleek look so you can watch movies or sporting events while working out. And of course, what is a gym without some awesome sound? We installed four Bowers & Wilkins CCM-382 in-ceiling speakers distributed evenly throughout the gym so that no matter where you are, you have even coverage of sound.
We have custom designed the entire lighting for this home. We utilized high-performance DMF lights and strategically placed them in the best locations throughout the home. Oftentimes, lighting can be overlooked, but it is an essential part of how your home will ultimately feel and when done right, can dramatically improve the overall appearance.
First, we have custom linear LED lights in the wine cellar downstairs. These are set up to highlight the wine bottles and give the room a modern, beautiful look.
Next, we’ve got custom DMF lights that are recessed into the ceiling throughout the entire home. These are extremely high-quality lights with extremely high color rendering and dimming capabilities to make it the exact lumen level you desire. Depending on the room, we’ve utilized ones that will spread light evenly, and others that are directional to point at artwork or other pieces that you would want to highlight in the room.
To power all the lights, we’ve set up all the lighting control systems in a hidden room in the basement, completely out of the way. And to keep it nice and easy, every single light switch is just a single box of engraved scenes instead of a massive box of multiple unlabeled switches. This way we can put multiple buttons on one switch and label them so you know exactly what you’re turning on.
As you continue to explore downstairs, you’ll find an expansive living room area with another 85-inch Samsung TV that is flush against a wall of beautiful woodwork. To keep the minimal design, we’ve installed two Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers directly above to give you great high-performance audio. As you pan left, there is a massive sliding window wall that opens up to the outdoor pool and lounge area. Outside, we’ve installed four Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers that play the sound from the Samsung Terrace TV that we’ve installed above the outdoor fireplace.
Everything can be controlled by Control4 touch panels, smart remotes, and the homeowners’ phones and iPads. They are able to change the temperature, security details, lighting, TV’s, play music in any room of the house and so much more.
Throughout the property, there are strategically placed security cameras that cover every angle with high-quality 4K footage. This is also linked in with the doorbell system so you can easily see who is at the door on the tablet on the wall or on your phone before you answer it. We’ve set this system up so that when the homeowner leaves, the alarms are armed and it automatically changes the lighting to specific presets, turns the TV’s off, and any other preference they like. This is super convenient as all you have to do is hit one button and the entire home changes to the preset you need without having to walk to each room to change them individually.
In the master bedroom, we’ve designed each window with motorized shading that includes a sheer shade that automatically comes down, and then a blackout shade that can also come down to darken the room completely. To keep a super clean look, we’ve installed a custom TV drop down system where a 65-inch Samsung TV comes out of the ceiling and hangs in front of the bed. The homeowner can press one button and the blackout shades will drop down along with the TV and have a perfect movie night in their bedroom. Paired up with this are Bowers & Wilkins CCM-382 in-ceiling speakers to keep that clean look but provide clear and detailed sound.
